My comments on the Barsotti Publishing books:

A double truck spread of the Little Green Frog children's book by Joan Barsotti.

After trying to self publish Ms. Barsotti realized she didn't speak the language of printers and her local print contact didn't have the experience in book making she needed to compete with the big name authors and publishing houses. Although the stories of her first two books were excellent the reproduction of these stories were very unsatisfactory and could not compete with other children's book on the market.
We were able to improve the quality of her books by consulting with Ms. Barsotti and her illustrator. Together we created working solutions to produce illustrations that had room for the story and kept the story moving toward the next page. We worked with photographers that could eliminate the light refraction problems in the scanning of her original oil on canvas illustrations. We used the correct paper stock, binding methods and raised the print quality.
Ms. Barsotti & RēlKey Books have collaborated on several award winning books & remakes of her previous stories over the years. She is now a veteran of high end self published books and she still relies on us to keep her projects running smoothly.
