There are some people I meet
or talk to that I have an immediate affinity towards. Ms. Balido is one of those people. Her grace is infused into
her mannerisms and speech. Her conversational style of writing within her tale overflows with charisma gained from
an inner strength.
Although this
book didn't pose some of the challenges that other books intrusted to us, we had to work hard to get the
most out of supplied photographs that usually would be considered unuseable for book reproducion. The author also gave
us licence to work some design additions to the traditional novella that make each page a bit more interesting to the eye
as well as the readability.
The
most difficult part of this book turned out to be the shipping. During the winter of 2009 multiple storms were crisscrossing
the Pacific Ocean and the container ships weren't sailing into San Francisco Bay on their usual scheduled arrival times.
Once the ships did arrive the backload in US Customs delayed delivery further.
No matter the book didn't have a firm deadline so a couple of weeks delay didn't cause a
real problem.
